Thank you for your reservation with Isla Mujeres Trips for the Chichen Itza Trip.

Our van will pick you up at your hotel lobby and will take you to the meeting point in Cancun where all the people come, pay the balance and then get on the big bus. Our driver will call you by your name at the lobby, please make sure you don’t go with another company. (you will receive another email with exact pick up time at your hotel)

You can pay your balance with pesos or usd. With credit card there is a 6% fee
You can bring something to drink, snacks, towel, dry clothes and swimming suit for the cenote. Also something to cover yourself in case the AC is high in the bus.
After the Tour you will be dropped off at your hotel lobby around 8 pm

Staying in Isla Mujeres

Take the 6:30 am Ultramar ferry from Isla Mujeres to Puerto Juarez. Once you arrive please go to the seats that are by the Oxxo Store inside the ferry terminal on your right hand. The van will arrive and the driver will call you by your name. Please don’t go with any other company until you hear your name.

A van will pick you up at 7 am at Puerto Juarez and will take you to the meeting point in Cancun where all the people come, pay the balance and then get on the big bus.

You can pay your balance with pesos or usd. With credit card there is a 6% fee

In the return, the bus will go through Cancun hotel zone first to drop everybody off and Puerto Juarez is the last stop. So you will be back between 8 pm and 9 pm.

You can bring drinks, towel, dry clothes and swimming suite for the cenote. Also something to cover yourself in case the AC is high in the bus.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is this tour?

The pick up is between 7 am and 7:30 am depending on where you are staying. The tour starts approximately 8:15 am. If you are staying in Isla Mujeres you need to take the 6:30 am Ultramar ferry and the pick up is at 7 am right at the ferry dock on Cancun side.

When do we arrive back in Cancun?

You should expect to be back at your hotel in Cancun or ferry dock between 8 pm and 9 pm.

Do we stop anyplace else?

Yes. We will first stop at the restaurant for the buffet lunch and the Mayan ceremony. On the way back from Chichen Itza we will stop at the cenote for 30 minutes and Valladolid town for another 30 minutes if the traffic allows it.

How long we actually spend in Chichen Itza?

About 2 and a half hours.

For any of the pyramids, are we able to go inside any?

Can we climb the Chichen Itza?

Not anymore

For that trip is it only sight seeing and viewing then?

Yes

Do I need to bring the confirmation email or form of ID when getting picked up?

Only your confirmation, your ID is not necessary.

Can you let me know where exactly to meet at Puerto Juarez?

At the seats by the Oxxo store on your right hand as soon as you get off the ferry, inside the terminal.

How will I identify my driver?

The van will arrive and the driver will call you by your name. Please don’t go with any other company until you hear your name. Our driver will pick you up at Puerto Juarez terminal or hotel lobby if staying on the mainland and will take you to the meeting point in Cancun where all the people arrive, pay the balance and then get on the big bus to start the tour.

What should I bring?

A bottle of water, snacks, comfortable shoes, towel, dry clothes and swimming suite for the cenote. Also something to cover yourself in case the AC is high in the bus and extra money for drinks, souvenirs and tips.
